Notice of completion of audit

The audit of accounts for the Council for the year ended 31 March 2023 has been concluded.

The Annual Governance and Accountability Return is available for inspection by any local government elector of the area of the Council on application to the Clerk, either by email to clerk@haughtonpc-staffs.org.uk or by ringing 07932 755 914.

Please note that the Clerk is not available between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday but will return your call or email as soon as he is able to do so.

Next Parish Council Meeting – Monday 22nd April 2024

The next meeting of the Parish Council will be held at Haughton Village Hall on Monday 22nd April 2024 commencing at 7.00pm.

The meeting agenda will be published on the Meetings Agenda page at least three clear days before the meeting – click on Parish Council in the links at the top of the page, then Meetings, then Agenda to view previous agenda (or just click here).

New play equipment for Jim Jarvis Memorial Playing Field

UPDATE – all equipment now installed and available to use!

Installation of 2 new pieces of play equipment has commenced at the Jim Jarvis Memorial Playing Field. Installation work started on Tuesday 27th June 2023 and should be completed by the end of the week.

Existing equipment will be accessible during the installation work.

Public rights to inspect accounts for the year ending 31st March 2023

Any person interested has the right to inspect and make copies of the accounts to be audited and all books, deeds, contracts, bills, vouchers and receipts relating to them. For the year ended 31 March 2023 these documents will be available on reasonable notice on application to the Clerk to the Council between 5th June 2023 and 14th July 2023.
